Starting this summer, curbside yard waste collection will move to a
subscription-based service.
What this means for residents:
Curbside yard waste collection will be available for $15 per month.
If you choose not to subscribe, remote yard waste sites will remain available at no cost.
Curbside service will continue on your regular collection day.
Yard waste will no longer be collected in brown paper bags. Instead, materials must be placed in a 95-gallon plastic curbside container, which will be serviced just like garbage and recycling cans.
Residents who subscribe will receive their yard waste container in the spring.
Please stay tuned for more details as yard waste season gets closer.

The yard waste containers are put out seasonally from
May - November at the remote sites.
Yard waste will need to come out to the landfill December through the end of April.
Our transfer station at the landfill entrance is open 24/7 and has yard waste containers all year round or you can utilize the Scale during normal business hours.
Yard waste is free to dispose of for residents to dispose of at the remote sites and $30/ton for commercial businesses to dispose of at the landfill.
The remote sites are for residential use only.
It is illegal to place yard waste in your regular trash can or the recycling can.
