Yard waste started on monday, may 5th.
Yard waste container removal dates at Fitzgerald Stadium:
Firecracker Tournament: June 30th – July 8th
Junior Legion State A Tournament: July 29th – August 5th
The removal of these containers does not affect curbside yard waste.
Curbside yard waste will continue to be a weekly service until the end of November.

Yard waste will need to come out to the landfill December through the end of April.
Our transfer station at the landfill entrance is open 24/7 and has yard waste containers all year round or you can utilize the Scale during normal business hours.
Yard waste is free to dispose of for residents.
It is illegal to place yard waste in your regular trash can or the recycling can.

curbside yard waste manners
• Yard waste bags must be in brown, biodegradable paper bags. They cannot bein plastic bags or a reusable container.
• Yard waste bags must be placed at the curb no later than 7am on your normal collection day and placed at least four feet away from your garbage/recycling can.
• Yard waste bags must be under 25lbs. Our crew has to be able to lift the bags without them ripping.
• Residents can dispose of sticks/branches through the curbside yard waste program, but they must be cut into four foot chunks and bundled and tied.
• You must be able to mow it or grow it to put it in the yard waste bag.
