Lithium Batteries
There are many forms of lithium batteries including watch batteries all the way up to vaping devices, phones, and electric Barbie jeep batteries.
These will always start a fire! They cannot overheat or get punctured. Please dispose of these properly so that it doesn't start a fire in your can at home or inside of one of our garbage trucks. Here are instructions on how to dispose of them. |
Unexploded fireworks
Do not place these in the regular trash or at a remote site.
They will start a fire. If you have some old or unused fireworks, completely submerge them in water and let them sit overnight. In the morning, wrap them in seran wrap so that they do not dry out. Please bring these directly out to the landfill. |
Flammables
These must be disposed of at a Household Hazardous Waste event, they cannot be thrown away or dumped down the drain.
Check in with our Facebook Page or the Upcoming Events tab to see when our next Household Hazardous Waste event is |
