Propane Tanks / Helium Tanks

The landfill does take empty tanks!
This includes the small, green camping ones.

BUT they have to be brought directly out here. They cannot be thrown away in the garbage because that could lead to an explosion either in the truck or inside of our facility. 

For larger propane tanks, check with the manufacturer to see if they have a take back program! 

If your propane tank is not empty, you can take it to CBH Co-Op and they will empty it for you for no charge. There will be no compensation for the gas that's lost inside of the tank though.
