​Wood Pallets & Plastic Pallets

Rapid City Landfill composts untreated/unpainted wood pallets along with the other yard waste that is received. It's $20/ton to dispose of them. 

For plastic pallets, they will be disposed of and you will have to pay be weight unless you bring in your city utility bill showing that you have city garbage service. Then you get one free dump a month, up to 1000lbs.
