extension cords

Please do not throw these away!
They get REALLY tangled up in our equipment.

We have a recycling program for extension cords out here at the landfill.
(These are NOT accepted in our curbside recycling program)

Bring your extension cords (and/or holiday lights) out to the Solid Waste Admin Office at the landfill and place them inside of this bin.

If you do not want to recycle them, they must be cut into four foot chunks before disposal.
If they are left long, they will get caught up in the tires of our heavy equipment - causing delays in operations.
