cooking oils and fats

We can take cooking oil out here at the landfill!
​Large amounts of cooking oil cannot be disposed of at home.
You must be able to dump your cooking oil into these containers and then take your container back home with you.

The cooking oil cannot be contaminated with anything. No motor oil or gasoline.
This is going to be recycled for animal feed so it must be pure cooking oil.

There is no charge to dispose of cooking oil at our facility.
You can dispose of it during normal business hours, Monday - Saturday.

We cannot accept bulk liquids since we are a solid waste facility.
If you have a small amount of cooking oil, dump it into a container, let it solidify and seal the container before disposal. You can place it inside of your curbside garbage can.

Be careful because hot cooking oil can start a fire.
We have had people melt their garbage cans by disposing of cooking oil.
