christmas lights

PLEASE DO NOT PLACE IN YOUR REGULAR CANS.

Christmas lights get tangled up in the machines and can cause damage and delays.
If you don't want to recycle them in our separate containers, they must be cut up into four foot chunks or smaller and then placed inside of your garbage can.  

The landfill has a Christmas Light Recycling Event that runs
November 1st - January 31st.
 
Outside of this program, there is a container that is out year round at the landfill. It's located at the 
​Solid Waste Administration Building entrance.
