These are extremely hazardous! 

If they are clearly labeled that they do not contain PCB or were manufactured before 1998 - we can take these or you can take them to Pacific Steel & Recycling or Ace Steel & Recycling. 

If your ballast does have PCB, 
you can take it to Lighting Maintenance Co. It cannot be thrown away in the regular garbage.

Lighting Maintenance Co charges $3.25/pound for disposal.
