aerosol cans / spray cans

ALL aerosol cans must be completely empty before disposal.

Once the aerosol can is completely empty, you can place it in the recycle can or in your regular garbage can.
 
If you cannot empty the aerosol can, it must wait until the next Household Hazardous Waste Event.
The contents inside of an aerosol can are usually highly flammable and can cause a fire in a garbage truck or at the landfill.

You could contact Safety Kleen if you don't want to wait until the next HHW event, they dispose safely of hazardous and non-hazardous material.
